Payment Options

thewatchgiant offer a number of options for both UK and EU customers, including debit and credit card payment but also a PayPal option.

UK and Northern Ireland Customers

Credit/Debit Card

The safest way to pay is through checking out via the site using either  VISA (credit, debit or electron), MasterCard, Maestro/ Solo or Switch, through using these methods all customer details will be transferred to a highly secure SSL page whereby the details can only be seen by the actual processing computer. We do not charge any additional fees for the use of cards, we now accept Amex

PayPal

We recognise that the majority of the British public have access to a PayPal account and prefer to use this when checking out. While checking out with a credit/debit card is just as safe, life is made easier with PayPal as details are already stored. To check out via PayPal please follow the onscreen instructions and where asked please select the PayPal option. (Please note, like with Credit/Debit cards, we can only send to a verified address, if your PayPal address is not verified, we will not send the goods out). Please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions or concerns you may have.

Cheque

If the customer prefers, we will accept a cheque, if paying using this method please contact us first. We must wait for all cheques to clear before goods can either be passed over or posted. There are no additional charges, please contact us for more details.

Bank Wire Transfer

Bank wire transfer is an option, we recommend only using a bank wire transfer for items over the value of £1000, any transfers over this amount are free of charge, any amounts under £1000 may be subject to a fee, again please contact us for details, please also note that we cannot hand over or post goods until the funds have cleared into our account.

100% Secure methods of checking out

We take security issues very seriously, the systems that we have in place means that our customers details are protected at all times. Our partnership with Protx and NatWest streamline merchant services aim to continually strive for a 100% customer confidence rating when checking out via the site, the methods in place are so stringent that it would be far safer to checkout online as opposed to paying over the phone.

European Payment Options

We are now accepting credit and debit card payments, as well as Paypal for customers In Europe, if paying via card we will be doing all the necessary checks before we send the watches out.

Euro Currency Conversion

PayPal

When checking out via PayPal the quoted Euro price will be the actual Price you will pay, for example if a watch has been priced at 300EUR then you will pay 300EUR, with credit and debit card payments this is currently not as simple but we are looking to change the format.

Credit/Debit Cards

As we do not currently have a facility in place to cope with Euro to Euro payments, prices may differ very slightly from what is quoted online, when checking out everything will convert pack to sterling, depending on the exchange rate of the day, this could increase the way very slightly, or alternatively decrease the price very slightly, please note this will be very slight and we are talking less than 0.50% either way.
